 In searching for an XMPP (and other protocol,) outlook IM add on over the
 past year or so I have not been able to find a single one.

 It would be very useful in the corporate environment to be able to have
 electronic "communications," in one application window.  Outlook is our
 choice of Email client as well as the majority of other corporations
 around the world and Pidgin is our XMPP client of choice for 5000+ users.

 Xobni is a very good example of the type of interface I would like to see,
 but they do not support any IM protocols.  Maybe, possibly a collaborative
 effort with the xobni developers would bring a complete contacts
 management and communications add on solution?

 But even if not, I think this is one single enhancement / modification
 that could propel pidgin to the forefront of open source IM clients.  Not
 even Microsoft's own messaging client (communicator,) resides in the
 Outlook application window.
