Comment:

 The lines immediately above that snippet might contain useful information,
 I don't know. This sounds like it might be a firewall issue to me, that is
 when it receives the second HTTP Method connection attempt it kills the
 previous HTTP Method connection it had. Since you indicated that as soon
 as one of you logs on the other is logged off (in both directions) and
 because the error in the debug log you posted is a network connection
 error.
