 You can't access the internet until you restart what? Pidgin? Your
 computer?

 The debug log is Help->Debug Log or TipsForBugReports#ObtainingaDebugLog.

 The facebook plugin is not a default plugin. You have accounts on all of
 those protocols active when this issue happens?
