New description:

 As previously indicated by others in the closed "Ticket #5024."  I get a
 failure to reconnect upon resume from sleep nearly 100% of the time.  I
 have Vista Home Premium, latest version of Pidgin 2.6.3, clean install
 (only what comes with the software installed).  I have had this problem
 with three releases of Pidgin, including 2.5.5, 2.5.8 and 2.6.3.  FYI - no
 Google Talk, whatever that is.  I saw a lot of reference to it in Ticket
 #5024.

 I was a bit shocked by my stupidity, as I discovered after adding my
 attachment, that it held oodles of private info.  It would sure be nice if
 there were a way to create a debug log file without compromising privacy.
 I edited it after much time, and to the best of my abilities.  FYI- Four
 X's are substituted for each bit of private info.
