New description:

 This is the first time I've experienced not being able to invite myself or
 be invited into group chats on AIM. When I right-click the chatroom name
 in my buddies list just to see the drop-down menu, I get an error in the
 debug file. When I join, it idles and doesn't do anything. When I start up
 Pidgin I also get the same error as when I right-click on the chatroom
 name. What to do now? I've been sent invitations to the room and clicked
 "Accept" but nothing happens.

 This is the error I receive when I right-click on the chat room name, and
 also when I start up Pidgin.
