 Hey everyone,

 I'm using Pidgin on Windows 7RC, and have been since the RC came out.  The
 issue is that my AIM buddy list does not load, and I don't appear as
 "online" to other AIM users - but I can send outbound test messages to
 myself using the same account; when I do so, however, it does not list me
 as online.

 This first appeared a few days ago on Pidgin 2.6.1, and I upgraded to
 2.6.2 assuming it was a connection issue with AIM (much like the YIM
 problem a few months ago), but upgrading to 2.6.2 has not helped.

 I've already made sure I'm listed as "Available", account enabled, etc. so
 there's something much more fundamentally wrong here than basic user error
 - especially since I've changed no settings, configurations, or even
 enabled plugins anytime within the last few months, let alone since this
 problem started days ago.
