Comment:

 A user in #pidgin just mentioned another issue with this, where the
 message is formatted like so:

 (<B>username</B>) <HTML><BODY bgcolor=#0000ff>
      <FONT FACE="Arial" SIZE=2 COLOR=#ffff00>hey geez</FONT>
 </BODY></HTML>
 }}}

 This is apparently how messages from "AIM Blast" (blast.aim.com) appear,
 which makes me crazy (an official product generates that!?)  In 2.6.2, the
 entire username is being stripped off.

 It seems like the only way to deal with this would be to simply delete any
 "<HTML>" and "</HTML>" strings found in the text.
