Comment:

 The "XML parser error:... Extra content at the end of the document" is an
 unrelated (non-fatal, expected) error.

 Please attach more of the debug log, preferably the full thing from when
 connecting. If you'd like, you can email it to me at <my nick> -at-
 pidgin.im (if you do this, please reference the ticket number in the
 email).
