 Problem did recur -- I logged in (to Yahoo IM) under two accounts, and
 sent a message to one contact via one account.  It was not received, and
 that account was invisible to the target.  The other account was visible
 to the target, however.  Disabling and re-enabling the errant account
 rendered both accounts visible once more, although the message (and one
 other after it) were apparently lost.
