 I can confirm this as well. If I've been online quite some time before my
 friend logs on (with Trillian), I show up as offline to her. When I go
 offline and then switch to available in my Pidgin client, I show up as
 being online, as I should have before. I don't seem to have problems
 seeing other people's online status correctly though.
