 This has happen to me 3 times so far and I have been using Pidgin for
 about a month now.
 The memory leaks have run up to 1.8Gb (all three times) and yes it is Gb
 and not Mb.

 Windows 7 build 6100 (x64),
 Asus P6T Deluxe,
 i7 920 @ 4Ghz,
 OCZ Platinum XTC 6Gb @ 1707Mhz,
 nVidia GTX 285,
 Vertex 30Gb x 3 i raid 0,
 Creative X-Fi Elite Pro.
