 You have PHP installed in your Windows PATH.  PHP includes an incompatible
 version of aspell which causes Pidgin to crash.  Remove PHP from the PATH
 and the crashes will stop.[[BR]]This is a duplicate of the above bug
 http://developer.pidgin.im/ticket/9956, using the debug window, you'll see
 dnssrv: Couldn't look SRV record. DNS name does not exist. (9003)

 I replaced libpurple.dll with the patched version, and this acts as
 expected.

 dhalik, give it a try and if it doesn't do the trick, post the output in
 the debug window.
