 I agree. this feature would be very beneficial to many users I think. I
 used to use the message splitter plugin very heavily. I love to copy and
 paste long text to send to friends.. but now I can't do that. what
 happened to the message splitter plugin? why can't that simple feature be
 built-in?  i feel that this feature would make Pidgin much more friendly.
