 I've experienced this for several versions now.  I have an additional
 display that is sometimes attached to my laptop and used to extend my
 screen.  If I start Pidgin while the screen is extended with the second
 display, the Buddy List opens in a location that is off of the edge of the
 screen (the window opening motion suggests that it is in a position to the
 upper right of the 1st display).

 In order to show my Buddy List I must close Pidgin, disable the second
 monitor, re-launch Pidgin, and then enable the second monitor.

 Windows 7 RC1

 I thought there was already a ticket for this issue but I could not locate
 it so I am creating a new one.  Sorry if this is a duplication.
