 i poinpointed the problem: installation of frei0r-plugins breaks pidgin,
 not a presence of gavl in the system. does it change anything? i mean
 isn't that strange that a presence of some .so files
 (http://pastebin.com/f17c44727) stops pidgin from starting up?
