 I have captured the packets used by Pidgin 2.5.8 and Pidgin 2.6.2 when i
 change my status.

 I have used''' Microsoft Network Monitor version 3.3'''.1641.0 and made 2
 captures. I don't know if these will help you. I hope they will.

 I tried different configurations and with this account (b 4 y o u _ b b o
 g d a n) I can't, initially, change the status with 2.6.2 Or send
 messages. This thing... with the captures, was the only thing i can think
 of right now.
