 Hmm.. I don't understand how, server isn't sending status updates, and
 server shouldn't even know if we are Pidgin 2.5.8 or 2.6.2 or even Pidgin
 or Yahoo messenger.
 Have you tried changing status on yahoo messenger for that particular
 account of yours, maybe that gives us some clue.

 Yeah I see, strange behavior, only if I could have reproduced it.

 a while and found nothing. So... the only thing left to do is to test this
 on other versions of windows and maybe one or two unix based systems using

 I do not think you have configured anything wrong here, I myself have an
 account with over 80 contacts, and never had such or any problem
 whatsoever in all these years, and how much I configure, just add username
 and password. There isn't too many settings to fiddle with in the first
 place.

 of predefined statuses was gone and i had only 5 of them available
 ("Available","Invisible","Busy","Away" and "Offline"). After a few
 restarts of the program [while i was setting the things up for the
 "movie"] all the predefined statuses re-appeared. (i know this sounds

 Did you by any chance enable any non yahoo account, because if you did in
 that case you have only "available, away, do not disturb, invisible,
 offline" status to choose from, since they turn out to be statuses most
 protocols support.

 If you want this ticket reopened let me know, or you can do so when you
 have more information. In either case you will have to come up with more
 information before I can help you.
