#11650: Yahoo file transfers fail with Adium os OS X
----------------------+-----------------------------------------------------
Reporter: helminthe | Type: defect
Status: new | Component: libpurple
Version: 2.6.6 | Keywords: adium libpurple mac yahoo file transfers
----------------------+-----------------------------------------------------
Using the latest beta - 1.4b17 (2009-12-01), which in turn uses libpurple
2.6.5, all file transfers fail silently. The sender sees a progress dialog
and a confirmation that the file was delivered completely, while the
receiver doesn't get any notification.
Transfer log on the sender says:
{{{
14:26:35: Sending text attachment AITextAttachmentExtension<120648c0>:
<AITextAttachmentExtension: 0x120648c0> which has path Documents/putty.exe

<Destination=<AIListContact:12059c80 Yahoo!.otheruser>> <Message=otheruser
requests to send you (444.0 KB){
}>}
}}}
There is a strange wording in the messages, like ''Received Offering to
send putty.exe to otheruser from otheruser'' or ''Message=otheruser
requests to send you'' while the transfer direction is myuser->otheruser,
not sure what to make of this.
