 Good day.

 (This relates specifically to Yahoo messenger access - but can be used
 with other types that Pidgin accesses)

 Currently we can right-click on a user & specify
 "Presence settings >> appear permanently offline"
 (which means if you are online, they cannot see you...)

 Can there also be a 'permanently online' function - The ability to appear
 online for a user when you are invisable, already exists.

 so, just needs a few enhancements

 :- pidgin stores a database of users that you want to appear permanently
 online to.

 :- when you log in, pidgin checks this database / file, & marks those
 people as able to see you.
