Old description:

New description:

 This problem started from today. If a buddly does not log out properly
 (i.e. disconnects internet) i see that buddy online and available even if
 that person is actually offline. Till yesterday i didn't face this issue
 so google must have changed something as i have not changed my system in
 any way..

 My system:
   * Ubuntu 9.10 fully updated
   * Pidgin version 2.6.6

 If you hover over the buddies who you see this for, what do you see (what
 resources are they connected from?)?  Better yet, please post the Get Info
 dialog for one of those buddies.
