 Like a few people, I could not connect to yahoo though a proxy after
 upgrading from 2.6.6 to 2.7.*. After reading the news that 2.7.2 would
 have the fixes, I happily upgraded. Unfortunately I still cannot connect
 to yahoo due to a proxy issue in 2.7.2.

 Please see attached log for further information.

 I'm behind a proxy with Tools -> Preferences -> Proxy: "No Proxy"
 selected, this has worked without issue for many years.

 Distribution: Gentoo

 I'm running iptables, but I cannot see any blocking in the logs.

 If any other information is needed please let me know.
