 Looking at the debug-log Pidgin appears to be loading the correct GLib:
 Version 2.20.5 is included with Pidgin, 2.22.0 is included with PHP 5.3.

 Still, when I try to delete "glib.dll" from PHP's installation folder
 while Pidgin is running Windows informs me that "The action can't be
 completed because the file is open in ''Pidgin''"... If I close Pidgin the
 file can be deleted without a problem.
