Comment(by arriere-pensee):

 Pidgin is started and automatically logs in to a SILC server.  After
 exactly 1, 2 or 3 idle hours the SILC server disconnects me; shortly
 thereafter Pidgin tries to do something and crashes.  Have attached
 relevant portions of debug log from a number of crashes.
