 This looks like it is probably caused by memory corruption, e.g. something
 overwriting the `PurpleConnection->keepalive` value so the keepalive
 timeout can't be unregistered successfully.

 This is going to be a pain to debug on Windows because there are no nice
 tools like valgrind and `_MALLOC_CHECK` to help figure out where the
 corruption is happening.
