 Thanks; this reduces the urgency for me, though frankly I'm sure others
 will have similar reactions to "losing" a long chat message. It's
 certainly not obvious how to retrieve a previous line. It's not even an
 option in any of the menus; not sure how you're supposed to even discover
 it beyond Googling or digging through the help files.
