 I have been using pidgin and Ubuntu for about 3-4 months now. Recently  I
 added a few plug-ins through the software center:  facebook, gfire,
 last.fm, and some status related plug ins. Now the messenger window and
 message windows are blank with just the minimize, maximize and exit
 options on the top bar. I still recieve messages pop-ups and when
 responded to message through facebook in browser it showed a pop up of my
 response. I uninstalled/reinstalled pidgin and the facebook, and gfire
 plugin, but my settings stayed and whatever is causing problem. What do i
 need to do to get it working again.
