 The plugin source is available on the Google Code site (as it needs to be
 to be distributed at all). Thus the plugin can be compiled by anyone who
 wishes to do so. If a pre-built linux version (really versions) of the
 plugin are desirable (and I'm not sure they are in general) they should be
 requested of the plugin author.
