 Would you be so kind as to show me where you have indicated twice
 previously that the balloon messages popups have always shown the buddies
 buddy icons instead of the custom set ones? Because I do not see it. I see
 you indicating in the original post that the indicator applet does that
 but as I've mentioned already the indicator applet is not the balloon
 messages.

 You also said that you "removed indicator applet from panel, but [some
 sort of] messages still appear" and that somehow there is a bug there
 (note that you don't specify that the icon bug from the original report is
 the problem here (hence my question the last time).

 You also said that you "disabled [the] libnotify_popups plugin, and [some
 sort of] messages ... disappeared" (but still no indication of what
 problem those messages were exhibiting.

 You clearly believed we understood that the problem was in the balloon
 messages this entire time but that was not clearly stated until after I
 asked for clarification.

 But as to your actual problem if the balloon messages that display this
 problem disappear when you unload the libnotify_popups plugin then the
 problem is in that plugin and you need to report it to the authors of that
 plugin (who aren't us).

 Next time try to correctly assess where the problem is actually coming
 from and if/when details change don't assume that we automatically follow
 connections just because they make sense to you.
