 This begs the question of whether it would be better to just merge the
 Enhanced History plugin into our stock plugin.  I know it's been discussed
 before, but no one has done it yet.  If we were to do this, it would
 require a careful examination of both plugins to make sure the resulting
 merged plugin retained all functionality and still worked correctly.
