 Start a chat, and add a horizontal rule via "Insert" button. Select it
 using ctrl+a, then cut it(ctrl+x). Paste it in the same window. It will be
 shown in the middle instead of top(When you first insert it will be shown
 at top with a vertical scroll). Now press up key once and press backspace.
 Pidgin freezes and becomes unresponsive.
