 I've also started seeing this issue again, with the same behavior as I had
 previously seen.  In my case, I need to disable both clientLogin and Use
 SSL in order to successfully connect.  I get a SSL handshake error if I
 use SSL with clientLogin disabled.  This was working for me since my
 previous post.  I had captured some trace when I saw it last time, but
 will take another look at it.
