 What i did was i went back to live messenger and looked up all my contacts
 in the options-->privacy settings window. I reactivated the contacts i was
 lost by rightclicking on them and adding them back to my contact list.  I
 never found why they where gone or how it happened. I know it is related
 to the making of groups in pidgin and putting the moving the contacts into
 there.

 What i did after i had the contacts back is i made the groups and
 movements of contacts in msn. after which they showed up ok in pidgin. I
 did the same in gtalk and yahoo.

 However i stopped using pidgin because of this annoying bug. Because once
 you forget and you move a new contact again it is first double available
 and afterwards it is gone when removing one of them. I got fed up with
 this bug so stopped using the product. Also since no reply came from the
 developers at all.
