 I confirm this "bug" for 2.6.5 in both Windows and Ubuntu Linux 9.10.

 This problem exists in other programs that offer similar functionality,
 such as emesene.

 In my case, ALL of the contacts I've added after a certain point in time
 (which I can't remember, some months ago probably), regardless of the
 program (Windows Live, Emesene, Pidgin), display a "Has you: No" status. A
 few of my older contacts as well suddenly do so as well, while it's
 confirmed that I AM in their contact lists.
