 no there is no solution.
 and developers dont care about users. Forget about Pidgin (use WTW2 for
 example, or Kadu for windows).
 Look that there is no change of this ticket since 7 weeks (and there is
 one similar to that [about upgrading libgadu to newest version which has
 this bug fixed + new features for gg10] waiting for developer for more
 than 7 weeks).
 The fix is easy, but ......
