 If I correctly understood the code, the name of the server is not directly
 stored into "account", only as part of "username". I do not see any
 problems with a string comparison here. I did not write the patch to have
 it included into pidgin, only to fix a problem I have. But, the general
 feature (having protocol icons based on service not on protocol), should
 be added. It makes a big difference if my buddies are connected via
 facebook or google or a different jabber service. I want to see this.

 BTW, my patch segfaults on my system when I try to add a new account. So,
 be careful.
