 I´m currently trying to configure Pidgin to use the XMPP from gmx.de.

 1. I created a new account in pidgin
 2. username is my private email "thenamefromme at mailueberfall.de"
 3. Domain is "gmx.de"
 4. Ressource is "Private"
 5. LocAlias is "thenamefromme"

 When I then press save pidgin automatically changed the fields:

 1. Username will be changed to "thenamefromme"
 2. Domain will be changed to "mailueberfall.de at gmx.de"

 When I use the changed account to login pidgin say: "Invalid XMPP ID"
