 It looks like you're missing at least one of the H264 elements. You need
 both x264enc and ffdec_h264. They should be found in gst-plugins-ugly and
 gst-ffmpeg (that's gstreamer0.10-plugins-ugly-multiverse and
 gstreamer0.10-ffmpeg for debian based systems).
