 Using Windows 7 release candidate and Pidgin 2.6.6

 When an IM window is open but not in focus, and the status of the contact
 changes, the window doesn't update to reflect this.  As soon as you click
 on the window or return focus, it updates immediately.

 A complete guess on my part, but maybe we just need to trigger a repaint
 when this event occurs?  Whatever happens when a user sends an IM or
 starts typing, seems to work correctly, whether the window is focused or
 not.
