 When someone add me or I add others to a conference using Pidgin, the font
 color of the text becomes the same as the background color (regardless of
 the background color) making the conference invisible unless selected and
 pasted to a difference text editor.

 I'm using pidgin with XFCE v4.6.1 and GTK v2.18.5 in Arch Linux x86_64.
