 A new issue with "clear formatting":

 Paste a link, such as the link to this ticket, into the outgoing message
 box. CTRL+A to select all text, CTRL+R to clear formatting. Hit enter (or
 delete the message). Type a new message, and hey look! it links all the
 text to the original link that was cleared.
