#12371: Pidgin in Windows does not allow user to change language

In Linux, language for Pidgin can be easily configured through the Locale
definition, however in Pidgin, this does not seem to be so easy.

Even though you can install additional localizations when installing the
program (selecting from the "Localizations" tree when viewing the
installable components) these localizations cannot be enabled from the
 main Pidgin GUI.

It seems you have to manually modify the
"HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Pidgin --> Installer Language" registry key.
When installing in English this value is 1033, if I install in English
(with the Spanish localization) and then change the value of that key from
1033 to 3082. Pidgin will show up in Spanish.

This, however, is quite cumbersome (and tell that to end-users!) it might
be better if you could, using Pidgin's Preferences set the languaje of the
Interface selecting one of those alraedy installed as localizations
(%ProgramFiles%\pidgin\locale). Also, a plus would it be for that
preference to explain the user how to install *additional* localizations
after the program has already been installed.

 Regards

 Javier
