 I am using pidgin in Ubuntu Lucid.  My version of pidgin and kernel
 version is follows:

 shibin at LnxTest:~$ pidgin -v
 Pidgin 2.6.6 (libpurple 2.6.6)
 shibin at LnxTest:~$ uname -r
 2.6.32-22-generic

 I have installed gstreamer0.10-plugins-multiverse, gstreamer0.10-ffmpeg,
 libmp3lame0 and pidgin-PPA to enable the video chat with gtalk.

 When I use pidgin with normal user the video call terminates and says
 "Conference error".  When I start pidgin with root user, it works perfect.
 I can make video call with any gmail users with video chat plugin.  The
 call to and from pidgin client to pidgin client is perfect.  But if any
 users from gmail initiating video call, my pidgin entirely freezes. It
 starts my webcam, but nothing is visible; instead freezes.

 I have enabled this test with debug mode.  I have tested 3 times.  First
 two with normal user and final with root user and the call from gmail to
 pidgin.

 Please go through the debug file and help.
