 I have installed higher version of pidgin.

 shibin at SPLnx:~$ uname -r
 2.6.32-22-generic

 shibin at SPLnx:~$ pidgin -v
 Pidgin 2.7.1 (libpurple 2.7.1)

 This too hung, when calling from google talk.  There is some issue on this
 version.  That is when calling to the gtalk/gmail user, we are able to see
 the video but the user at other side, those using gmail can't see the
 video.  There is another issue noted that, the voice delays for a min.
 That's the voice from pidgin user reaches to the gmail user after a min.
