 Wiat, following the
 http://developer.pidgin.im/wiki/Using%20Pidgin#win32_gtk_theme
 instructions does work.

 This CR should remain open though because Themes swithcing has becoem
 quite complex:
 There is a pluging to switch theme which does not work when using the
 default external app to switch themes. There are theme related preferences
 whiich seem to do nothing.

 To switch themes, one needs to find this help referenced above, manually
 install a theme package and another separate app (A really manual
 installation which I would guess over half the pidgin users cannot do
 properly...) and use it, and restart pidgin for it to take effect. I think
 this thing needs some cleanup!
