 Yes, I received no notifications that anyone was online.

 I tried what you suggested and logged in on the official client. Something
 strange happened. Everyone who I was sure had logged in during the time
 that I had MSN enabled on Pidgin had been deleted from the server
 (according to the official client). They were no longer on my contact
 list. However, Pidgin still seemed to think they were on the server. Those
 who I was sure had ''not'' logged in were still on my contact list
 according to the official client.

 I deleted and re-added all my contacts using the official client, and then
 attempted to log into the account on Pidgin. This time my other MSN
 account appeared as online (which was correct), and I can send and receive
 messages using Pidgin MSN now.

 I don't really have any relevant debugging information to add.

 I'm not entirely sure that the problem is not connected to Trillian in
 some way because while this account worked on Trillian, I did add all my
 contacts to it using Trillian.

 Also, I have no trouble adding additional contacts using Pidgin MSN and
 sending and receiving messages from them as well. The only problem seemed
 to exist when I initially added my MSN account to Pidgin.
