 I have the same problem. Since it used to work (sending messages to
 +1[mobilenumber], I uninstalled 2.5.4 and reinstalled Pidgin 2.0 with the
 older version of GTK (not sure the release number - I did this a month
 ago). Presto! AIM to Mobile worked, BUT, I couldn't message on MSN. I am
 now on 2.6.6 and MSN is back but AIM to Mobile is not working.

 It's not clear if it is the GTK or Pidgin that is broken.

 The official AIM client works fine with AIM to Mobile.
