Comment:

 The issue for me is a bit stranger than the one given by cadsculptor.
 So far I'm noticing a carrier-related blockage of AIM to Mobile SMS. The
 past two days I've had issues with people on Cingular/AT&T, T-mobile, and
 Sprint but my Verizon Wireless friend has no problems receiving my
 messages. All of these people have differeng area codes, so I can't see a
 trend in that, but all of the area codes are right next to each other. It
 also seems that the friends I mentioned I couldn't SMS with Pidgin I can't
 even SMS with the official AIM client.

 Is there some way I could provide helpful debug information, packet sniff,
 or something of that nature? I don't even know if this is a Pidgin issue,
 so I'm at a loss of how to help out.
