 You have PHP installed in your Windows PATH.  PHP includes an incompatible
 version of aspell which causes Pidgin to crash.  Remove PHP from the PATH
 and the crashes will stop.[[BR]]Replying to [comment:2 datallah]:

 It is rather annoying is there any way of using the old GTK+ with the new
