 datallah, are you sure gump animation player doesn't use GTK?  I see a
 reference to the GTK .dll in animation-play.exe - it would be silly for it
 to not use it's own API.  Maybe you should take a look at the source code
 for this and see how this program does it.

 Can you should file a GTK/GDK bug?  I think you should do it, since I'm
 sure there will be some back and forth about the API calls you are making,
 parameters, etc, and put a URL to the bug here so we can all see the
 progress.
