 There was a user in the #pidgin IRC channel last week with this problem.
 He has since tried to contact me via IRC but we have not been online at
 the same time. I assumed (since his screenshots looked very much like
 yours) that you were the same person and had simply gotten fed up trying
 to find me on IRC. Apparently that isn't the case.

 I'm glad you found where the problem seems to be located.

 If you wouldn't mind could you post a link to the KDE bug you file here so
 I can track it? I'd appreciate it.
